CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s soccer team played Georgia Southern to a 1-1 draw, Tuesday night at Martin Stadium.

How it Happened

The Blue Hose were able to find the back of the net in the first minute of the game when Mason Lewis found Harry Abell who tallied his first collegiate goal. Georgia Southern tied the game up in the 50th minute, and neither team was able to score for the remainder of the game. GSU totaled 28 shots, with PC not far behind at 23.

Man of the Match

Abell’s goal in the opening minute would be PC’s only goal of the game, but it allowed the Blue Hose to play the Eagles to a draw.

Record

PC moves to 5-7-2 overall, while Georgia Southern moves to 6-5-3 overall.
