SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Presbyterian College women’s soccer team fell 3-1 to Wofford in their first road game of the 2016 season on Friday night.

How it Happened

After a scoreless first half, Wofford scored the game’s first goal just 27 seconds into the second half. PC tied the game in the 51st minute when Kristen Peagler sprinted through the defenders and kicked it over the head of the goal keeper and into the back of the net. The Terriers regained the lead seconds later, then tallied another goal in the 58th minute.

Woman of the Match

Peagler scored the lone goal of the game for the Blue Hose, and tying the game momentarily.

Stat of the Game

Peagler’s goal gives her sole possession of first place on the team in goals this season with three.


PC falls to 1-3-0 while Wofford improves to 1-5-0.
