PC Continues Road Trip at Chattanooga
• The Presbyterian College football team will make its way to No. 6 Chattanooga on Saturday in the second of three straight road games.
• The two teams meet for the second straight season and the eighth time overall in history of the series. Last season, Chattanooga pulled out a 21-0 victory at PC in a defensive affair.
• Saturday's game will be the first between PC and UTC played at Chattanooga since 1961, which also marks the last win in the series for the Blue Hose. PC earned a 10-9 victory in that contest to even the series to 2-2 at the time. The Mocs have won each of the last three meetings since the 1961 game, all of which were played in Clinton.
• Saturday will mark just the second time since 2009 that PC will play an FBS opponent and a ranked FCS opponent in consecutive weeks. The other came in 2014 when PC defeated then 12th-ranked Furman, 10-7, before traveling to NC State the following week.

Last Time Out
• Presbyterian fell to Central Michigan, 49-3, on Thursday night in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. in the season opener for both teams.

• The Blue Hose defense provided a few bright spots in the loss, recording a pair of interceptions and 4.0 sacks in the contest.
• Jaylen Lindsay led the defense in his first career start, totaling a team-high nine tackles with a sack, a tackle for loss and his first career interception.
• Ben Cheek led the PC offense, completing 10-of-22 passes for 83 yards through the air. Darrell Bridges managed 39 rushing yards on 22 carries in a tough offensive effort.

Get on Your Level
• After opening the season on a Thursday night against an FBS opponent, PC returns to a more normal game week with Saturday's matchup against FCS opponent Chattanooga.
• Over the past three seasons, PC has been outstanding against FCS teams following games against FBS opponents. In fact, since 2013, PC is 5-0 in games against non-FBS opponents that were preceded by a game against an FBS opponent.

• The Blue Hose defeated Brevard, 45-10, in 2013 after falling to Wake Forest the week prior. In 2014, PC defeated Bluefield, Western Carolina and Gardner-Webb after games at Northern Illinois, NC State and Ole Miss, respectively.
• Last season, PC opened the year with back-to-back FBS opponents but picked up a win over Campbell in week three.

Taking on All Comers
• Saturday's game will be PC's 10th against a ranked FCS opponent since 2013. The Blue Hose have played exactly three ranked FCS foes each of the last three seasons.
• The Blue Hose hold a 2-7 mark against ranked foes since 2013 and are 3-16 overall against top 25 teams since 2007.
• PC took down a pair of ranked opponents in 2014 with victories over No. 12 Furman (10-7) and No. 22 Charleston Southern (7-3).
• Last season, two of PC's three losses to ranked opponents came in one possession games. No. 1 Coastal Carolina held off a late PC drive for a 24-17 victory. The following week No. 20 Charleston Southern scored a late touchdown to edge the Blue Hose 10-7. The third loss came at the hands of this week's opponent, then No. 8 Chattanooga.

Cheek Continues to Grow
• Ben Cheek set career highs for completions (10) and pass attempts (22) at Central Michigan in just his sixth career start overall and his first against an FBS opponent.

• The redshirt sophomore threw for 83 yards with long completions of 27 yards, 19 yards and 17 yards, all to different receivers.
• The second-year QB is set to make his second career appearance against the Mocs. Last season, Cheek came off the bench to go 5-of-10 passing for 38 yards against UTC with one interception.

Lindsay Does It All in First Start
• Jaylen Lindsay shined in his first career start at Central Michigan in the season opener. The free safety totaled a team-high nine tackles, including a sack and a tackle for loss, and record his first career interception in the contest.

• The redshirt sophomore had played in just three games and recorded just four tackles over his first two seasons with the program before Thursday's game with the majority of his playing time coming on special teams.

Norton Shows Versatility
• Brett Norton begins the season as the punter and field goal kicker in his sophomore campaign. Norton takes over the punting duties after the departure of Stephen Doar, who was a first team All-Big South selection in 2015.

• The second-year starter made his first field goal attempt of the season at Central Michigan, nailed a career-long 36-yard attempt for PC's lone points of the game.
• Additionally, Norton made 11 punts for an average of 40.5 yards in his first game as a punter. He managed two punts of at least 50 yards, including a long of 53 yards.
• Norton is now 7-for-11 on field goals in his career, including a perfect 7-for-7 in road games.
