As a junior he was named to the First Team All-State Louisiana, All-District MVP, a two-time Battle of the Stars MVP, was a three-Point contest Battle of the Stars champion twice, a Sarasota Explosion Tournament MVP, and was selected to the Louisiana All-District team for three years in a row ... He scored over 2,000 points in his high school career, and while at IMG, he averaged 16.1 ppg, while shooting over 45% from beyond the three-point arc ... He also set the IMG three-point record for threes made in a single game ...
