MEMPHIS, TENN – Presbyterian College’s Davis Parker finished one under par, tied for 7th, at the Memphis Intercollegiate on Tuesday. The men’s golf team finished 10th (893) in their first fall tournament.

Parker (Augusta, Ga) shot 215 (73, 70, 72) to climb two spots and tie for seventh place at the Colonial Country Club. Junior Carson Spears (Augusta, Ga) shot 224 (71, 77, 76) to tie for 38th. Sophomore Park Brady (Saint Simons Island, Ga) shot 225 (78, 73, 74) to tie for 41st. Freshman James Scott (Atlanta, Ga) shot 230 (77, 79, 74) to tie for 56th, and classmate Cole Patterson (Travelers Rest, SC) shot 236 (82, 79, 75) to finish 69th.

Memphis shot a final round of 284 to overtake the runners-up from Arkansas State, 859 to 862, and clinch the team title. Lipscomb’s Dawson Armstrong won individual medalist honors at 208 (-8) and led his team to third at 867.
