CLINTON, S.C. – The Presbyterian College baseball team returns home for a midweek contest as the Blue Hose host Wofford on Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m.

The Blue Hose will likely start senior LHP Paul Sanders (0-1, 6.17 ERA) while Wofford will counter with Conell Anderson (1-2, 3.50 ERA).
PC (12-26-1, 5-13 Big South) dropped three games to Coastal Carolina last week. PC battled with the Chanticleers for 13 innings on Friday, the second 13-inning game this season and the longest game since a 14-inning, 11-10 win over Ohio on March 4, 2012.
Brad Zebedis (Rock Hill, S.C.) leads the Blue Hose with a .318 batting average and .408 on-base percentage. Jacob Midkiff (Rock Hill, S.C.) also boasts a .304 average and Cam McRae's (Darlington, S.C.) 21 RBI and five home runs lead the team in those categories. Nate Chong (Duluth, Ga.) has tallied a team-leading six multiple-RBI games and Zebedis's 12 multiple-hit games pace the Blue Hose.
Senior LHP Beau Dees (Blenheim, S.C.) pitched six innings of shutout baseball against Coastal Carolina and RHP Chandler Knox (Columbia, S.C.) allowed only five hits over eight innings against the Chanticleers. Knox leads PC starting pitchers with a 3.34 ERA.
Wofford (20-19, 3-11 Southern) hosts USC Upstate on Tuesday night before heading to Clinton on Wednesday. The Terriers dropped both weekend games to Furman in a rain-shortened series following taking one of three against Elon the weekend prior. Seth Neely leads the Terriers with a .283 batting average and six home runs with a .486 slugging percentage and a .413 on-base marker. James Plaisted boasts a team-leading 27 RBI as well.
The Terriers have won both games of the season series, taking an 8-7 result in Spartanburg on February 23 before besting PC 10-6 on March 19 at Greenville's Fluor Field. Catcher Derek Long (Alpharetta, Ga.) has gone 2-for-5 against Wofford this season with two RBI.
Following Wednesday's game, PC hits the road to take on Longwood in a weekend series that begins on Friday at 6 p.m.
