SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Presbyterian College men’s soccer team dropped its non-conference finale on Wednesday night, falling to the Wofford Terriers by a 4-0 margin.

PC moves to 3-12-0 on the year while Wofford improves to 9-5-1. The Blue Hose return to Big South Conference action on Saturday at Longwood at 3 p.m.

The Terriers used three goals in the first half to take the win.

Nico Fazio (Roswell, Ga.) led PC with three shots. Josh Carter (Anchorage, Alaska), Ignacio Monchetti (Montevideo, Uruguay), Ian Dempsey (Madison, Ala.) and John Speed (Decatur, Ga.) each registered a shot as well.

Goalkeeper Tyler Beadle (Douglasville, Ga.) made five saves in the effort. Tanner Osborne (Lexington, S.C.) played the last 14:39 in goal as well.

Nestor Jaramillo opened the scoring in the third minute before Chase West made it 2-0 in the 13th minute with help from Connor Davis and Garrett Closs.

Davis scored one of his own in the 34th minute to give Wofford a 3-0 lead at the break.

West potted his second of the match in the 81st minute to close the scoring.

Speed made a defensive save in the 52nd minute, blocking the net to stop a shot from Nestor Jaramillo.

One of PC’s chances came in the 12th minute on Carter’s shot, which glanced off the post. The Blue Hose also created a corner kick opportunity in the second half.
