PC moves to 2-16 on the year. Jacksonville improves to 13-4.

The Blue Hose will play on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. against the loser of Friday evening's match between Detroit and Liberty.

Five different players scored for PC, led by Megan Schaaf's (Ellicott City, Md.) one goal and two assists. Her three points match a career-high for the sophomore.

Liz Davis (Alpharetta, Ga.), Katie Prisco (West Babylon, N.Y.), Lauren Lefeber (Waxhaw, N.C.) and Jena Ready (Charlotte, N.C.) each scored for the Blue Hose. Jaime Beamish (Memphis, Tenn.) controlled a team-high three draws and picked up two ground balls.

Jacksonville's Brittney Orashen scored five goals while Ali Hoffman added a goal and four assists.

PC goalkeeper Susan England (Bethesda, Md.) made nine saves in relief, combined with Samantha Arey's (New Alabany, Ohio) five saves.

Schaaf put PC on the board, taking a cross-crease feed from Prisco and tucking a shot into the left side of the net to make the score 3-1.

Davis scored next for the Blue Hose thanks to a Schaaf assist. PC cleared and took advantage of the transition, pressing the ball upfield as Davis streaked in for the score. The goal cut Jacksonville's lead to two, 4-2.

Prisco found the net next for PC. Stenoien ran the ball down the middle and sent up a pass to a waiting Prisco, who cashed in from close range to make the score 8-3 in favor of the Dolphins.

Jacksonville took a 16-3 advantage into halftime despite nine first-half saves from England.

Lefeber broke a Dolphins run, taking the ball from the PC end and scoring the squad's fourth goal of the game.

Ready ended a four-goal goalless drought with a second-half tally. After Brianne Ward (Cincinnati, Ohio) pulled out a free position attempt with a pass, Schaaf fed Ready in front and the freshman converted to make the score 20-5.

PC held the Dolphins to only three goals in the final 20:38 but could not launch a comeback bid.
