Men's tennis player Zachary Sprouse (Hilton Head, S.C.) and women's lacrosse midfielder Kirstin Stenoien (Houston, Texas) were named Presbyterian College's Male and Female Athletes of the Week for their accomplishments on the field and court for the week ending April 24.

Sprouse helped the PC men's tennis team to its first-ever win in the Big South Conference Championship tournament last week. The senior won the deciding fifth-flight match against UNC Asheville in the quarterfinals before taking another match to help PC over Coastal Carolina in the semifinals. He offically ended his collegiate career with a 2-0 record in the tournament and matched a career best with 12 singles wins in 2012.

Stenoien led the Blue Hose to their first National Lacrosse Confernce win of the year, scoring four goals in a loss to Detroit before tallying a hat trick and two assists on Senior Day in a win over Howard. The senior also controlled a team-high three draws against the Bison. On Friday against Detroit, Stenoien broke the school's career goals record and now stands at 91 goals for her career.
