NINETY-SIX, S.C. - The Presbyterian College women's golf team moved into sixth place with a second round score of 307 on Tuesday at the 2012 Big South Conference Women's Golf Championship presented by Musco Sports Lighting.  The Blue Hose have a two-day aggregate score of 625 (318, 307).

Senior Carrie McClenaghan (Greenville, S.C.) continues to lead the Blue Hose, but fell back to a ninth place tie at 153 (74. 79). Sophomore Kalie Goodman (Easley, S.C.) moved up to tie for 20th at 156 (80, 76). Senior Kasay Holbrook (Dawsonville, Ga.) fell back into a 24th place tie with junior Kim Carpenter (Tampa, Fla.). Holbrook sits at 158 (78, 80) while Carpenter, who showed the most improvement on the day, shot even par during round two and sits at 158 (86, 72). Sophomore Mary Kathryn Linder also showed improvement, moving up to 45th place at 172 (91, 81).

The Blue Hose are not eligible to win the Conference Championship until the 2012-13 season and are playing on an invitation-only basis.

Coastal Carolina's Brittany Henderson shot a conference record 68 during round two and moved into first place at 143 (75, 68), however Campbell (594; 294, 300) still holds a one-stroke lead over the Chanticleers (595; 298, 297).
