LONG BEACH, Calif. - Logan Huff had a banner
night against Furman with a pair of goals in the season opener. For his work, Huff was selected to the
TopDrawerSoccer.com team of the week late on Tuesday afternoon.
The victory
was PC's first over Furman since 1983.
Huff scored for the first time on 30 minutes with a
penalty kick goal. His second goal saw
him rise over the Paladin defense just 2:31 into overtime and head home a
corner kick.
The honor is
PC's first individual honor since PC began the transition to Division I status.
PC travels
this weekend to play in the Smith Barney Nike Classic in Burlington, Vt. The Blue Hose face Vermont on Friday
afternoon before closing the weekend against New Hampshire on Sunday morning.
