CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Rookie Edward Snead IV has been named The Crons Brand Freshman of the Week, as announced by the Big South Conference office Tuesay afternoon.

Snead IV, a freshman from Greenwood, S.C., went 4-0 in singles play as he led the Blue Hose to a 3-1 record during their spring break trip last week to Orlando, Fla. He posted straight set victories over each of his opponents from Duquesne, South Dakota State, Marywood, and Puerto Rico Mayaquez.

For the week, PC defeated Marywood, Puerto Rico Mayaquez and South Dakota State.
