BURLINGTON, NC – The Presbyterian College men’s golf team finished 15th at the Phoenix Invitational with a team score of 889 (302, 290, 297) at the Alamance Country Club (par-71, 6,867 yards) on Tuesday.

Josh Taylor shot 219 (73, 71, 75), including a collegiate-best round of 71 during the second round on Monday, to tie for 40th. Cole Patterson and Ben Pirro tied for 56th with scores of 223. Carson Spears (T73) shot 226 (79, 73, 74). Harrison Fisher shot 238 (81, 82, 75) to finish 93rd.

Elon won the team title with a score of 841 (284, 274, 283). Western Carolina’s Dylan MacQueen shot a final round of 62 (-9) to overtake George Washington’s Adrian Castagnola for individual medalist honors at 200 (-13).

The Blue Hose will next travel to the Palmetto Collegiate hosted by USC at the Camden CC from October 20-22.
