Kristen Dodge joins Presbyterian College as an Intern Athletic Trainer. She will be the primary athletic trainer for the Volleyball and Softball teams.
Most recently Kristen completed a summer athletic training internship with USA volleyball in Anaheim, California.
Dodge received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Erskine College in May 2017. While serving as a student athletic trainer at Erskine, Kristen worked with the men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s volleyball, women’s lacrosse, and softball teams, as well as, off campus rotations with wrestling at T.L Hanna High School and football at Belton-Honea Path High School.
Kristen was also a three-year member of the Women’s Volleyball program at Erskine. Kristen helped the Fleet to back-to-back conference championships in 2014 and 2015 as well as the first NCAA tournament win in program history against top seed USC-Aiken in 2015. Most recently Dodge was named the recipient of the Jake Todd Award given to the outstanding male and female senior student-athletes for the 2016-17 academic year.
Kristen earned her national certification as an athletic trainer in 2017 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association.
