CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College men’s lacrosse player Devin Pinkston was selected as the “PC SAAC Student-Athlete of the Week” on Tuesday.

A freshman from Purcellville, Va., Pinkston picked up his first career hat trick in PC’s loss to Bellarmine on Saturday, March 15. The three goals in the game were the first three goals of Pinkston’s career with the Blue Hose.

All three of Pinkston’s goals against the Knights came in the final 16:30 of the game.

Pinkston picked up his first career goal with 1:03 left in the third quarter.

He scored PC’s final two goals in the fourth quarter against Bellarmine to record the hat trick. Pinkston’s second goal came with 8:09 left in the game. He acquired the hat trick off an assist from Brian Foley (Charlotte, N.C.) with 5:43 left in the fourth quarter.

The Blue Hose take on Hobart today at 2 p.m. in Richmond, Va. The game will be played at Collegiate School.

The game with Hobart is PC’s fourth game in seven days.
