CLINTON, S.C. - The Presbyterian College women's tennis team will hosts Newberry and Delaware State in a pair of non-conference matches on Saturday at Templeton Tennis Courts.
The Blue Hose will take on the Wolves of Newberry at 10 a.m. before taking on the Delaware State Hornets at 3 p.m.
PC will aim to grab its first win of the young season following a 4-3 loss to USC Upstate on Saturday and a 6-1 defeat at Georgia Southern on Sunday. Patricia Alves (Campinas, Brazil), Caroline deLoach (Columbia, S.C.) and Haley Elliott (Greenville, S.C.) each have a singles win on the season.
Newberry opens its season on Friday against Lander before traveling to PC on Saturday. The Wolves were predicted to finish fifth out of 10 in the South Atlantic Conference preseason poll.
Delaware State dropped its first match of the season to No. 28 Yale on January 20, 7-0.
Following Saturday's matches, PC hosts Savannah State on Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m.
